The year 2017 is almost ended, and it has been memorable for us all. As the year comes to a close, we reflect and share our activities in an attempt to keep our friends up to date.
Our five children and their remarkable families definitely consume most of thoughts and energy, however we are still able to enjoy concerts, make music, and travel.
Claudette continues to be busy with her private piano/voice studio. Her free time is taken up with cooking, gardening and grand children. Jim has begun his 52nd year with the Butler Symphony and his 32nd year with the Musicians Concert Band. We both enjoy the PSO concerts, local plays/shows and Netflix on a regular basis.
Travel in 2017 included Hilton Head Island SC, Syracuse NY, Ocean City NJ, and Washington DC. In August we discovered that our wonderful marriage has endured for sixty years, and marked it with an enjoyable family dinner at Table 86.
2017 was the year for graduations in our family. Hayley (Bryan and Pam) from Utah State, Maria (Mike and Christina) from Syracuse, Natalie (also Mike and Christina) from Butler High, now at Finley College and Lauren (Nick and Vicky) also from Butler High, now at Pitt. Megan (Bryan and Pam) is a senior this year at Elmhurst College and Kate (Nick and Vicky) is doing her 9th year at Butler Intermediate High School.
Jessica Sanzotti (Vince and Becky) married Aaron Henley in October and the other married grandsons (Damien and Kate, Erik and Dana) are doing very well in their chosen careers. We have enjoyed our great-grand children, Aria and Sienna Sanzotti, and expect to welcome a great-grand son in December. Bruno, (Mike and Dawn) has gained a high degree of proficiency on the drums and continues to pursue soccer and skiing in State College.
How fortunate we are to have good health and to enjoy the activities of our amazing family. May you and your family have a holiday season full of joy and good health.
All our love, Claudette and Jim Sanzotti www.sanzotti.net, email@example.com
